feeling robbed over Greg Dyke and Hutton

I've just watched the coverage of Greg Dyke leaving, Greg's last email. I feel like I have been robbed, Blair's insistence that the apology from yesterday was not enough has forced a great and popular leader of the BBC from office. WRT the Hutton report, I feel that the Independent has the best take on it.

No, I don't think it was Blair that forced Greg Dyke out. It was the Board of Governors. And if you think about it, you'll see it's because Dyke (and Davies) defended Gilligan's report and subsequent behaviour without checking the facts first.

David Kelly told a Sunday Times journalist that Andrew Gilligan's report on the Today programme was "bullshit". Hutton agreed. You don't?

An excellent u-turn by Mr T Blair, who will, after all, it seems, launch an, ahem, independent inquiry into the reasons for going to war in Iraq.

When's the next General Election?
